Photo pinch issue on iMovie during playback

Imovie's Photo Pinch at start & End is not working when i playback the photo does not move I use this a lot and make weekly videos of my photos and all of a sudden this is not working anymore. When I add a photo I do the pinch where I want the photo to start & end but when I do the playback of my final product the photo does not move it is stuck in the original position.
