Appreciate the help. I've recently purchased a new PC and was trying to get the iTune Library from the old PC over to the new PC. For some reason they aren't able to sync via wifi. I have over 10K songs from CDs and purchase over the years on the old PC in iTunes and they are recommending using apple music.

Not sure who is recommending that, but I would not at this point, it still lacking many features of iTunes. Regardless, whether you choose to use iTunes or Apple Music on the new computer is fairly irrelevant in regards to transferring the music.

Is there a way to copy the iTune library off the old PC and move it to either Apple Music or iTune on the new PC?

Yes. You can literally just copy the entire Media folder from the old PC to the new one using an external drive or over the network, and then as mentioned hold down the Shift key while starting either iTunes or Apple Music on the new PC and point it to the iTunesLibrary.itl file in the Media folder you just copied. This assuming your iTunes Library on the old PC is Consolidated and portable and resides within the Media folder in your user profile on the old PC.

If you have media in different locations on the old PC and your iTunes library is pointing to these files, you'll need to either make your library portable, or recreate the same folder and path structure on the new PC.

On Windows, you should not need to do anything.

Just install the Apple Music App, and it should find and load your iTunes library as it was in the iTunes application.

If the Music App opened without loading your existing library, close it down and re-open it while holding down the shift key. It should ask you to find a library to load. Navigate to where your iTunes Library is located and select the iTunesLibrary.itl file there.

With that said, I do recommend you stick with iTunes and remove Apple Music, specially if you still need to rip and burn CDs.
