iCloud for Windows Version 15.3.138.0 Problems

iCloud for Windows 15.3.138.0 seems to have the following problems on both Windows 10 and Windows 11:


  • Application gets stuck at logging in. Log in window just spins. You can get past this by logging into iCloud on a web browser then going back to the app.


  • Once logged into iCloud, iCloud photos and iCloud drive never sync. They just sit there saying "initializing".


  • When you click on the "Account Details" button, the "Your Devices" section doesn't load with the list of devices linked to your Apple Account. It shows an error message that the list of devices could not be loaded.


These errors occur for me on two different devices... one running Windows 10 and the other running Windows 11.


I installed iCloud for Windows version 15.2.157 and everything worked properly.


What's going on with iCloud for Windows version 15.3.138.0?
