How can I stop navigation in Apple Maps after closing the app?

I am reaching out to report a bug I have encountered in Apple Maps while using navigation. The issue occurs when I have an active navigation running and then close the app. Upon reopening, the navigation continues, but the option to end or finish the directions is no longer available. This makes it difficult to stop the navigation without force-closing the app.

I have ensured that my iOS and Apple Maps are up to date, but the issue persists. I would appreciate any guidance on resolving this or any updates on whether a fix is planned.
