Apple Intelligence on iPhone 14 Pro /-Max Models

Hi, so I’ve been kinda upset since the release of Apple Intelligence, because it is only available for iPhone 15 and higher. The only thing I’m upset or moreover confused about is, why the iPhone 14 Pro models don’t get to have AI since it has the same chip and same neural engine as the iPhone 14 Pros.

I hope someone can clarify the reasoning behind it, since the iPhone 14 Pro models are still really good and I don’t want to change my phone after only 2 years, and I won’t until I’ll have to.

No. It doesn't. Apple Intelligence requires a 15 Pro or higher. It is not supported on the 15.

No, they don't have the same neural engine. You have to take into account the CPU itself.

iPhone 15 Pro

A17 Pro chip
New 6‑core CPU with 2 performance and 4 efficiency cores
