SOS showing and can’t receive calls

My husband has called several times and I can’t get his call.

SOS appears next to WiFi symbol.

SOS appears because your phone has lost its connection to your carrier's cellular network. You can still make an Emergency call.

You will need to use another phone to call the carrier so they can begin to troubleshoot the issue with the loss of connection to your phone.

Your carrier might also have an online user help site that you could use to contact them.

Thanks Bob.

It turned out that I had to update my software. I tried EVERYTHING to get rid of SOS, but nothing worked.

Then I decided to update (I don’t like to use the updates) The last update got rid of all of my passwords.

I appreciate your response though.

I’m sorry I used the down vote. Technically, your answer was not helpful, but I should have upvoted because you took the time to respond to my question.

I’ve tried to change it, but wasn’t able to make a change.

UPDATE: I was able to change my vote. Thanks again.
