Whenever I try to record my screen using the Mac's built-in screen recorder (CMD + Shift + 5), it misses the first few seconds of the recording. I've been facing this issue for over a year now, and even after upgrading my Mac from Monterey to Sonoma, the problem persists.

FWIW, On My Macs recording begins as soon as I hit Record. Make sure Time is set to "None" in Options.

Just to add, I would suggest you start the recording before whatever it is you are trying to record.
After setting the timer to none, I tried, but it's still missing the first 2 to 3 seconds and sometimes even more.
What exactly are you recording and how?
