Will my data be secure when I turn in a dead Mac mini M4 for a replacement?

I have a Mac mini M4 that is dead. I bought a Mac mini M4 last week and after a power surge, it is not powering on. I went to the service centre and they said it can not be repaired. Next day I got a call from Apple and they said they will replace my Mac mini M4 with a new one.

Since I can't wipe my data, will my data be safe if I give them my Mac mini as long as they don't have my passcode?

Is there any way they can access my data? Please help.

Yes, your data will be secure. Even if the device could be made bootable, it would require being erased to bypass your passcode. So there's no need to worry.
