Why are my contacts blocked in Lockdown Mode on iPhone?

I’ve been using lockdown mode for about three days now.

I haven’t had any problems with it, but I just got a notification that lockdown mode blocked one of my contacts from contacting me. Is this normal? If not, what do I do?

Lockdown mode is an extreme feature that disables many of the iPhone’s functions to block potential attempts to steal data. It is intended for high risk individuals, such as journalists or political leaders (or drug kingpins). Unless you fall into a high risk category you should not be using it.

In your specific case, if there was a link in the post from that contact that probably caused the block.
