Since updating to 18.3 iMovie features aren't working. It lets me add photos etc but won't respond and just stays on the same photo without moving on. I've done the later update 18.3.1 and tried deleting and reinstalling the app but nothing... help!
Try adding a short video clip to the time line and see if that shakes things loose.

Same problem, if you add a movie then it worked but if you just add photos as a slide show it doesn’t work.
Hi. I have the same problem. I added a random video and the problem resolved but when I remove that video the problem comes back. My project does not have or need any video. Help!
The video is added so you can finish your editing. When done editing, delete the video and export the project as a movie file. It should play fine.
