How do I map session player guitar loops to follow chord progressions in Logic Pro

when choosing a session player ( guitar ) loop and adding it into my project I find that although I can change the pitch of the loop to be in the main key of my tune I can't ( or don't know how to ) actually have the loop modulate to follow the chord progression of the tune . Is there some way I can map the loop to change pitch to follow. and be with the chords . hope I've explained myself here

Thanks for that info that’s moving me forward I’ll read the logic help stuff to see how I go about setting up a “ chord progression track “ first . That’s something I’ve never done , as a keyboard player I’ve just charted my idea on paper and recorded . Thanks again for your response

ive just learned something great from Eddie Grey thank you -- ie the ability to use the global chord facilities for use with the session players provided in logic which is i said great , but , I still need to figure out how to alter the keys in the multitude of guitar loops ( I mistakenly thought they also came under the heading of session player )---- the multitude of loops available don't seem to respond to chord progressions . any advice or guidance on this is really welcomed
