Downloading Cyrillic fonts for InDesign CS6?

There are many cyrillic fonts in MacOS already, like I said. Below is a picture of what Font Book shows you for the category Russian. You need to go to the forums/support for Indesign and ask why you cannot paste ordinary cyrillic text into their app. Post a screen shot of what you are seeing in Indesign here too.

Can you paste it correcty into Safari here or TextEdit or Pages? If not, the Word doc may be in one of the crazy ancient Russian encodings. MacOS already has lots of standard cyrillic fonts which should work in Adobe apps.

PS What happens if you select the russian text in InDesign and try to switch to one of the dozens of fonts shown in Font Book as supporting Russian?
