Having sudden issues with malicious text messages coming through with recent updates to ios18.3.1. Most recent is phishing scam related to fasttrax. Is there another update coming soon to correct this new issue? Or am I ahead to go back to older version. Did not receive texts similar to this on older update.

You cannot downgrade the operating system.
Updating to iOS has nothing to do with getting spam messages, everyone get them.
The FastTrack message is making the rounds these days, many people are getting it.

You cannot go back to an earlier iOS version.
That Fast Track message appeared on an old iPhone running iOS 15 that I was checking yesterday, so the scam has nothing to do with the iOS version on your phone.

Update has nothing to do with malicious text messages. If anything being updated to latest iOS provides the most protection.
