How do I fix screen discoloration on iPad Pro 11?

My ipad pro 11inch 1st gen has a large discolouration in the middle. Its like a cloud and it has a slight darkening effect on whatever is displayed within it. Maybe its worn down, I'm an artist and it seems to be in an area where I apply pressure when I'm drawing.

In this picture the cloud has a slightly dark tint in the middle of the screen. Ignore the glare on the sides.

Just curious if this is fixable/if apple has services for this.

As illustrated, it is possible that iPad screen or its laminated diffuser layer has a defect. If so, the only remedy is replacement of the screen - which would be expensive. The LCD screen is the single most expensive component of your iPad.

As an artist, you may benefit from the OLED screens used by current models of iPad Pro M4. These use a completely different screen technology that is free from many of the issues that can affect traditional LCD display technologies - while providing brighter and more colour-accurate images.

Returning to your issue, you would be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to assess your iPad and its screen. If a defect is confirmed, you will be in the best possible place to explore your available options:
