How do I “Enable” pop ups on iPad when using Chrome or safari

A website will not allow me to view its content and displays the message “You are using an ad blocker, disable your ad blocker & refresh the page” I have gone to settings-safari & toggled ad blocker to off but still get the same message.

Are you using any VPN or "security" Apps such as Norton, McAfee or similar? If yes, Apps of this type may be filtering network traffic which, to some websites, will be detected as an Ad-blocker.

If applicable, you may need to disable or entirely remove these Apps from your iPad. Alternatively, consider avoiding websites that expect you to compromise your preference to block or filter served-content.

You are very welcome. NordVPN is the likely culprit.

Be aware that while commercial VPN services can be useful in limited circumstances, such as when connecting to the internet from a public WiFi network, a VPN is largely pointless when connecting to the internet over your home's internet connection.

Unless you fully understand how and where a VPN service can add value, VPNs are best avoided; they often cause more difficulties than they solve. Regardless of any creative marketing, VPNs are not a universal security solution.
