I have the same problem. No matter how far away I’m move or how close I am portrait mode will not take a photo. it will not allow me take a photo at all on the front camera when it is in portrait mode And also my Face ID also not working those complaints came after the updation IOS 18 and I have iPhone 11. Restarted severel times resettled severel times but complaint not solved…. Need some assist

If you've come across this, yourself, then the question becomes: "Jost how many people have reported this to Apple?"
Report this as an Update Bug to Apple:
Do your Part: Inform Apple of your feedback of this issue. Include how you’ve troubleshot this, and your results. Apple wont get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive from its users, the more likely they will know what needs to be fixed, and what their customers prefer in updates, and future macOS versions to come. Apple will know nothing of your issue, if you don't report it to them.
