Homepod loses connection after pause.

My desk setup is that I have an Homepod Mini sitting on my desk and an iPad. I play music from my IPad through Airplay to the Homepod. It works great! Sounds great!

UNTIL... I have a meeting or something I need to pause the music.

After a few minutes, the iPad loses the connection to the Homepod and I can't continue my music without reconnecting.

This is extremely annoying and frustrating. Please fix this.
