iOS update deleted calendar events!

I'm using 18.1.1 and my calendar events are all gone as well.

Everything in the past and future events as well.

They were active about a week ago.

My phone was backed up onto icloud but there is nothing for the calendar.

I should add - if I search for an appointment, I can see the upcoming appointment and the calendar it's associated to HOWEVER the appointment is not showing up in the current calendar even though that calendar is checked to be viewed.
