Will Sync Library work while computer is asleep?

Greetings. I have decided to use Sync Library on my Macintosh, however, with the amount of songs I have installed, I wonder if putting my computer into sleep mode would be the best to ensure the process finishes as soon as possible. I ask because the some uploads are currently set to take some time, possibly a few days), and my computer has had issues lately with powering off (in addition to giving me a warning when I try to close the Music app).

in short, should it be OK to put my Macintosh into sleep mode while my computer is updating the cloud music library through Sync Library?

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind when I decide to resume syncing my library to Sync Library.

With that said, am I able to resume and stop the Sync Library upload as I please and will it continue uploading from the last uploaded song? Mostly since my library is too big to all be done in the span of a single day without sleeping or shutting down the computer overnight.

If I recall you'll get a warning if you try to shut it down while it is working, but you can carry on. It may resume automatically, but use File > Library > Update Cloud Library to be sure. In general it is safe to leave your computer powered on overnight. Often computers are set to perform updates and other maintenance tasks automatically overnight.
