How do I permanently disable stopwatch display on iPhone lock screen?

Figured out quickly to swipe to the left to clear, but then because sometimes I don’t notice that I paused it by accident. I go look to see if it’s running by using the clock app. there’s just too many steps for something that I use quite a bit for multiple timers throughout the day for medication and eating. And if I don’t clear it then most likely I’m going to end up touching the screen and pausing it and then that just messes everything up. So very nice feature use voice to set the timer, but then I have to fiddle around with it so it just negate the ease of using voice. I consider it a bad UI design. What happened to the supposedly simplicity of IOS?

Thank you, I rarely use the Command Centre. It’s still basically the default widgets on there, Including the timer. I will add the Stopwatch and see if that will give me a better experience. You may have triggered me to make more use of the CC.

That was a very quick response. I suspect I will still have the Widget on the Lock Screen but a change in work flow may be helpful.
