Sharing files on devices with different versions on Garage Band

I generally always use my iPad to great songs on Garage band (Version 2.3.16). I recently found however that after opening two tracks on my iPhone (version 2.3.17) that my iPad will not open on these tracks and wants to update. My iPad now is 7-8 years old and won’t update any further. Is there any way of getting these track back to a compatible version with my iPad?

Can I upgrade my iPad Pro 10.5 to the latest iPadOS to support Music app features? I noticed that my iPad Pro isn’t doing some of my music features as some of my newer devices, though the feature keys are still there on the screen. I pretty much guessed that the issue was that the iPad software was on the iPadOS17 version and not the 18 version. Is there any way to update the software where my device features match across the board. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

How do I get the older version of GarageBand? Hi there, so I have an iPad mini 2 but the problem is I want GarageBand installed but it says it's not compatible with my iPad which is running iOS 12.5.6 However, the other problem is I didn't get GarageBand through my Apple ID. And GarageBand was pre-installed on my iPad when I got it.
