After iOS update 18.3, Siri is not responding

It's not always the iOS update's fault!  Many things can cause phone problems.  If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix or find a solution for the real issue.

Remember, the right question often leads to the solution!

Was/Is your device Jailbroken? If that's the situation, please be informed that attributing the issues to iOS updates may not be accurate.

How nice of you to tell us it wasn't caused by the iOS update. I've been trying to get this resolved with Apple senior techs and Engineering for a week. No resolution yet.

After the update, I could no longer hear Siri talking on my iPad. She responded with a message box but I could not hear her. I went to Settings, Sounds and turned the "Change with Buttons" to the ON position. I then asked Siri "What's the weather like". I then raised the volume level with the button on the side until I could finally hear her speaking. Now I can hear her.

Maybe this will work for you too.

Settings > Accessibility > Siri > Type to Siri [Disable]

My phone just got the latest update and now siri is not working won’t talk. Was working fine before update.
