Remote Desktop with Audio for Final Cut Pro – Is It Possible?

Hi everyone,

I need to remotely access my Mac’s screen with audio while working in Final Cut Pro from another Mac (not on the same network). At a conference, I heard that macOS Sequoia has built-in Screen Sharing—how can I set it up to transmit system sound properly?

I’ve tried connecting via Screen Sharing using an IP address, but the sound wasn’t working on my end.

Is there a native way to enable both screen sharing and audio, or would I need third-party software? If so, what are the best options for low-latency performance and security when editing in Final Cut Pro remotely?

I’d prefer a macOS-native solution but am open to third-party apps if necessary.
