All of a sudden, within the last 2 weeks, this has started. I cant figure out why as it doesn’t appear that anything has changed. I have a 2018 Subaru Outback. Anyone else having issues ir give me an idea of how to fix it?

For now, it's asking me if I want to reply again. Maybe turn that on, turn it off, and restart your phone, make sure it's off?

Figured it out. Go to:
Settings - Siri - announce Notifications - turn off ‘Reply Without Notification’
Worked for me. LMK if it works for you.
Same here and I’m on the hunt for a fix. Happened with one of the iOS 18 updates and it’s maddening.
Siri no longer asks me if I want to reply to Message using CarPlay
