How can I undo switching between documents in Pages?

How can I undo switching between documents in Pages?

I am in Pages; this is what appears at the top of the screen:

I think the whole point is for a user to easily switch back and forth between documents, which is great. What bugs me is I do not know how it happened and I do not know how to undo it.

The keyboard shortcuts to switch between tabbed documents in Pages are shown on the application's Window menu. The keyboard shortcut to show or hide the Pages toolbar is option+cmd+T — shown on the View menu.

If you want to undo your tabbed Pages documents, choose one document tab, and from the Window menu, select Move Tab to New Window.
