iOS 18.3 causing freeze - preventing access / changes to family management

Same issue. On 18.3.1 - setting freezes if I try to enter child’s screen time from my phone. This is an important part of iPhone system for all parents - needs to be fixed with update asap please Apple!

I have exactly the same problem with ios 18.3.1 on an iphone 13 mini.

The Family page for the child account continuously hangs. We tried resetting the Network settings to no avail.

Result is we have got an angry child without any Screentime, because we cannot change it.

FFS.

Same issue, since upgrading to 18.3, unable to access Family - Family member selection - Screen Time. Each time, cannot open Screen Time, not responding to user tap.

Great… IA updates and simple & everyday useful thing like this not working.

This is a problem for me too, and has not been resolved for me with 18.3.1 release. It is an extremely frustrating problem and important feature for me as a parent, as I rely heavily on it control my kids’ phones usage. If it is not resolved promptly I likely will consider alternatives to Apple phones in the future.

My iPhone 13Pro wih IOS 18.3.1 is also freezing in the family section when i go into my child account.. happens continuously. Shutting all apps and restarting the phone does not help..... but this post is the backdoor lifeline... great shoutout and thank you

This freeze failure is causing all sorts of family arguments! I have found this has been freezing constantly for the last couple of weeks. I thought it was because I was being overly prescriptive with my rules and the machine couldn't cope, but it appears as though there is some form of bug that means that it won't allow me to move beyond the family members high level settings screen.. Then I have to close out and reboot. Not a solution

I'm unclear on how this post relates to the subject of this thread. Can you give more details about when your phone is freezing?

Still an issues here too. Is there a fix yet?? I feel so bad for flipping out on my teenage daughter and accusing her of making changes. All of her parent controls were gone when I found out!! I couldn’t get into settings on my phone, but I was able to change the settings on her phone. (When she shouldn’t even have access to that!!) We took her phone away and then I saw this chat! Please let me know how to safeguard her phone again. I don’t want her to have one without parental controls.

Not only is this STILL broken, but this is far from the first time. Apple apparently couldn’t care less about the millions of children that use iPads or their families that are trying to encourage safe usage.

This is interesting (and extremely frustrating). I wrote that the latest update fixed it, because it (family center) worked for me for a few days. But now I can’t enter it any more.

@apple please fix!!

Has anyone found out if this fixed? So irritating. Every time I try to go into anything it doesn’t load or gives me an explanation point when I click the back button. I’m trying to change something and can’t even do that. I have the 16+ and have never had this happen before with my older phone.

I wanted to add to this list so maybe Apple can see this is still an ongoing issue.

I am running 18.3.2 on a 13 Max Pro.

My husband’s iPhone 14 has no issues changing screen time.

I hope there’s an update soon that fixes this.

Having the exact same issue, since the 18.3 upgrade. When I try to manage my son’s screen time, it just freezes up.
