Help adding phone number to iPad
I am trying to add this phone number in messages they have messages.

Your post isn't very clear. Can you try explaining it in a different way?
What I can tell you is that iPads, even the cellular ones, don't use mobile numbers for anything (expect as a way to find them in a carrier's billing system). Natively, iPads can only send iMessages.
You can link your iPad to your iPhone so that you can send messages to people who don't use iMessages.
