What are the best methods to transfer iTunes music library?

I bought a new laptop and my Itunes library would not transfer to the new laptop with the rest of my stuff. I know I can use a flash drive to transfer but I have a good size iTunes library, 1066 cd's. Is there any other way to transfer my music over?

Transferring Itunes Library to new PC I bought a new laptop for music and photos and wanted to transfer my itunes library to the new device. I backed up the itunes folder (including itunes media and itunes music) onto a hard drive. I then downloaded that onto the new laptop. Itunes works but my library does not show the majority of my music (I am old so most of it was downloaded from CD into itunes on PC). When I look in the itunes music folder under itunes, it does appear to all be there but for some reason the library cant see it so I cant access it. I have done it this way before several years ago when changing to the old computer. My new computer is a HP running windows 11.

How can I transfer my Itunes library to what took over on my new Mac (Ventura OS) How can I transfer my Itunes library (on my old Mac) to an equivalent (that I will not have to pay for) on my new Max under Ventura OS ? I need to sync my music on my iPod nano 7 (yes I know I'm old ;-). Its a nightmare and rather microsoft flavoured than the good Apple times... Tis for help. Transferring iTunes for Windows Library to be available on a Chromebook with Apple Music I am currently using iTunes for Windows on a PC. There are many songs in the library that were not purchased from Apple but rather ripped and burned from personally owned CDs, casettes and even vinyl. Because I've been building this library with its associated playlists for many years, I don't want to lose it if I stop using PCs and go to the Cloud. Since iTunes doesn't run on Chrombook without the installation of Linux, I rather just subscribe to Apple Music. If I do that, will I be able to access and transfer my PC iTunes library to my new device? Thank you in advance for suggestions and solutions.

See Move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Community. While you can use your local network to transfer the library I would suggest that a backup on an external drive is always a good idea.
