How to convert a family member's legacy individual Apple Music plan to the family plan?
My wife, family member, had an Apple Music Individual Monthly plan subscription. I, family manager, subscribed to Apple Music Family back on the 2nd. She got an email from Apple Music Family "A family member has set you up with your own Apple Music plan…"
Her MacOS Settings | Family | Subscriptions | Shared does *not* show Apple Music, although it *does* show our shared iCloud+, Apple TV+ and Apple News+ plans. Subscriptions Manage… open a dialog box in App Store that still shows an "active" Apple Music Individual Monthly plan. I haven't seen any refund coming back for her (overcome by events) partial month of Individual.
Does the family member need to do anything to convert from legacy Individual plan to the Family plan they are now entitled to? Does she need to cancel her existing Individual plan? Will it refund the prorate? Surely we aren't the first people to encounter this order of events…
