iTunes on Windows 11 PC not recognizing my iPhone post iOS 18.3 update

Combination worked before the iOS upgrade to 18.3. Have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes. Apple Devices finds the iPhone without issue, so why not iTunes? Without the connection, I cannot sync any music playlists to the iPhone.

iPhone is not seen by itunes on Windows 11 PC but it is seen by Windows Explorer on the PC when connected with a USB cable I have spent all day trying to solve the iTunes showing my iPhone 12 as a device and allowing me to sync, move music around, etc. My PC is running Windows 11 Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621 and was updated this morning. The last time I was able to complete a sync was October of 2022. I have followed all of the advice on line: I have uninstalled/ reinstalled iTunes (12.12.10.1) several times from the Microsoft Store; I have connected my iPhone directly to my PC with a brand new Apple certified cable; I have checked to see if Apple Mobile Device Services is running (it isn't even there in Services no matter how many times i reinstall); etc. I run iTunes diagnostics and continue to get red dots for "iPod support services is not installed" no mater what I do. I am flummoxed! Is it just time to give up on iTunes and the idea that I will ever be able to sync or back-up my iphone or update my music library? Is there any NEW ideas or suggestions out there??

Has anyone else had this problem with iTunes? iTunes will not recognize my iPhone mini 13. I'm using a PC with Windows 10. I have followed the suggestions Apple has suggested all except for upgrading to Windows 11--not sure my system can handle it.

ITunes has stopped syncing with IPhone since installing IOS 17 - Software Update is not available I have an IMac mid-2011 running El Capitan 10.11.6 and ITunes 12.8.2.3. IPhone 12 with IOS 17.0.3 I have always been able to sync with my IPhone, and use ITunes to manage a lot of music, audiobooks etc. Since the update to IOS 17, the IMac/Itunes no longer syncs. When the IPhone is connected to the Mac, an notification says an update is required. After a minute or two, the below appears. This has been the case for several weeks. I would like to update the IMac / ITunes to be able to recognise the IPhone. Is it likely that the software update will be available soon? Alternatively, I would like to know how else I can continue to manage my music and other media between the computer and phone?

If you've installed any of Apple Music, Apple Devices, or Apple TV then iTunes is limited to working with audiobooks and podcasts. Device syncing duties are hidden in iTunes and passed to Apple Device, which expect to find music in Apple Music. Remove all three of the newer apps to have iTunes behave normally again.
