Automatically playing podcasts. No setting option to turn off!

My iPhone 16 automatically plays the next podcast, especially when connecting to the car and also anytime I end a call and it then just decides to play whatever podcast is in question. Swipping it out doesn't prevent it from happening either.

That is what should work... forever. However, after a few days of toggling the switch, I will finish a podcast and the iphone continues to play the next podcast. I toggle it on and off and it works immediately... but will not remain and will start continuous playback even with the toggle off.

After iOS 18 update I Can't stop Continupus Playback of Podcasts Since updating my iPhone 14 to iOS 18, podcasts play continuously even though I have NOT selected that. Checking the Podcast Settings Continuous Play is not selected and is set to Off. However Podcasts play continuously anyway. What can I do to stop this behavior?

Some new podcast episodes are downloaded but don't appear in listen now Since iOS 16 the podcast app has a very annoying problem that some new podcast episodes are downloaded but don't appear in listen now. It's always with the same shows that they don't appear there. Other shows work fine. I double-checked all the settings in the app multiple times. Is this a bug? Or is there something I can do? (I use an iPhone 12 Pro)
