Finalizing a book written in basic Pages.

I have almost completed a healing book written on my MacBook Air in basic Pages. I need to set my margins, add pics, indent paragraphs, add cover and beginning info pages, etc. I will probably sell it on Amazon and other outlets. It will be paperback with color pics. The size now is Pages size 11” X 8.5”. I believe I would like it to be 9” X 6”, but it is many pages and I have the basic fonts at 15. I have just read the correct way to format a book and I have a lot of changes to make. Now I see mac has templates for writing a book in EPUB format. Honestly, I don’t know what to do. I want a regular book to hold and read and possibly an ebook. My question is: What would be the best solution and way for changing what I have into what I need? Thank you for any help.

Well, first decide what you need. That's key

The other part is how far you are from a finished product. Right now it sounds like you have the basic book text, but there's a lot of formatting to be applied...?

There are many advantages to using one of the templates for book publishing, since some of the basics are already done for you. If your current content is mainly just a text flow, then it shouldn't take much to copy the text and paste it into a Book template. That will at least give you a feel for how it works. You're going to have to do some tweaking, no matter what, but it sounds like you already have to do that, so might as well let the template take care of some of the heavy lifting for you.
