Maps disappeared from desktop. It is in the App store and I can ‘get’ again but when I close the app it disappears back to the app store. Anyone know why this happens? How do i correct this?

Tried your suggestion and the icon wouldn't allow me to move it. I went to the last page titled App Library. Scrolled down the list of apps and found maps. Did a click and hold and then dragged the icon the home page. Maps is back.

In the App Library, put your finger on the icon and drag it back to the home screen.
