When I am typing a document in pages, very often it will insert a page break in the middle of a page without my asking it to, and I can't seem to remove it by hitting delete as I would a regular page break.
Is this a setting I have accidentally turned on, and how can I turn it off?

Keep with next paragraph will do that. Or, perhaps, Start paragraph on a new page.

Is it possible that one of the paragraphs has been assigned a style that forces a new page?
That didn't completely solve the problem but it's considerably less marked, now it's only adding five lines instead of half of a page. I suppose any improvement is an improvement. Thank you.
