Apple Music duplicate playlists issue on MacBook Air, iPhone 13 Pro, and iMac

MacBook Air | 5-inch, M2, 2023 | Sonoma 14.7.2

iPhone | 13 Pro 256GB | iOS 17.7

iMac | Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017 | Ventura 13.6.6

Around January of 20 twenty-FOUR my Apple Music went “crazy” . . .

After hours and hours and hours (days? months?) of working on my own and with Apple ”Care” the symptoms have changed slightly, but the underlying issues are the same:

* “Pages” and “pages” of duplicate, mostly “smart”, playlists - some are populated and some are empty

* Apparently those that do have songs are counting against the limit on number of songs in a library

* Have updated OS, reinstalled software, unsynced, manually deleted, etc. etc. etc. and the unwanted duplicate playlists return across all three devices every single time . . .

* The fraudulent playlists do NOT appear on my https://music.apple.com/ view . . .

Music is my life, and the inability to create/curate playlists without all the noise and constantly being told by the “engineers” that I’m over the limit has me at my wits end.

Please help!
