iPhone 16 Pro Max screen responsiveness issue

Have to touch the screen extra hard to get it to respond and if I try to type as fast as I was able on my iPhone 14, I miss letters on every word. Not what I expect from a $1,600 phone. Have tried alllll the YouTube video recommendations as far as settings. This is NOT normal!

Hey there,

A touch screen that responds to taps incorrectly can make your device seem slow. If you think that your touch screen isn't responding correctly, try restarting your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
If your iPhone or iPad touch screen still isn't responding, you might need service. Get service

before getting service,You say you checked the settings , have checked the “Touch Accommodations” settings?

if so Is there any activated option?

I asked you to make sure that there is no one of those options activated so that we exclude that they may be the one who causes the slow response, so the thing I recommend is to offer your device for maintenance by the Genius Bar in the Apple Store Get Service.

I have tried with all settings under touch accommodations turned on and off and the problem persists. What settings do you recommend and I will give them a try?
