iPhone Personal Voice (Accessibility) - Problems with Sharing Personal Voice Across Devices

With the Personal Voice feature on my MacBook Pro M3 14 inch 2023 (macOS Sequoia 15.3), I decided to create my voice. I finished the process, and it completed processing a couple of hours ago. I checked my iPhone (iPhone 13 Pro Max - Software 18.3) to see if my voice had synced since I had enabled Share Across Devices on both devices. To clarify, both devices are signed into the same iCloud account and are connected, but I don’t see my voice on my iPhone, even though it appears on my Mac. I assume it’s still syncing to iCloud, even though the processing is complete. I’d appreciate any insights on whether this is a normal syncing delay or if I should take any further steps.

Thanks in Advance!

Am no expert in this area, yet your post to the community deserves some response. Good to know you created your Personal Voice ok on your Mac. You may have seen the sync. problem disappear by now. If still needed, one or more of the few thoughts below may be helpful.

✽ Wondering if you looked for Personal Voice while in "Live Listen" on iPhone?

✽ Both devices likely need to be on the same wi-fi network. iPhone may be using cellular data.

Apple Support's article: Create a Personal Voice on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac - Apple Support

Eg: says:

✽ "To use your Personal Voice on your other devices,

first make sure that you turn on two-factor authentication for your Apple ID."

✽ Also says: "Personal Voice can be used only with Live Speech and third-party apps that you allow,

such as augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) apps".

✽ "You can control app access to Personal Voice in

Settings (or System Settings) > Accessibility > Personal Voice.

Additionally, the third-party apps that you grant access can't capture speech from Personal Voice."

So you may need to "allow" access to Personal Voice before you see it (eg: in third-party appa on iPhone)

All the best :-)
