Paragraph numbering is not consecutive

I am working in a pages document. I set up paragraph numbering, but for some reason, one of the paragraphs is not consecutive - as in the previous paragraph is 7 and this one is 11. The following paragraph is 8. I cut an pasted some text, but I cannot figure out how to correct the auto numbering so that what is now para 11 shows up correctly as para 8. Can anyone help me?

How do I fix text going right to left in Numbers? In Numbers, text suddenly going right to left. Have checked Advanced/Language and it is correct. Opening new Numbers document does not have this problem. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
