Document not getting saved in Pages on macOS 15.1

Editing a document and I get the 'document cannot be autosaved because you don't have permission' message box. However, when I look at the info for the file, all groups have read/write permission, so what could be the issue? I have seen many other reports from previous years but none of the solutions have corrected my problem. I can create a new document and save it in the directory but can't update an existing file.

Pages No Permission to Save?!? My MacBook Pro just developed a problem with the Pages app. Now when I try to save a Pages document, a warning pops up saying, "The document ___ could not be saved. The file is locked. Do you want to save your changes to it anyway?" Then when I attempt to "Save Anyway," I get another warning popping up that says, "You don't have permission to save the file ______ in the folder ____. To view or change permissions, select the item in the Finder and choose File > Get Info." Then when I press the "OK" button, the title at the top of the document has this added to it: " -- Not Saved" with a bubble below it that says, "The document could not be autosaved. You don't have permission." Then when I follow their suggestion to Get Info, I can see clearly that in the bottom box, next to my Name, my Privilege is "Read & Write." This is the only Privilege mentioned, not the "Permission to Save." Any idea how I can give myself "permission to save?" (Failing that, from whom do I need to get permission?) When I tried to save a doc on my mini mac 2023 hard drive I get not have permission anyone can help also if l drag a folder on the main drive it bounce back I can not save a file on my main drive l get not have permission also if l drag a file on my mini mac 2023 it bounce back

PAGES - PERMISSION TO SAVE?!? In a quandry - need your help, please! Recently started having problems with Pages app. (Have MacBook Pro M1, OS Sonoma 14.1.) When I try to save a Pages document I get this popup warning: The document "____" could not be saved. The file is locked. Do you want to save changes to it anyway? Choices are then "Save Anyway" or "Cancel" When I press "Save Anyway" I then get another popup warning that says: You don't have permission to save the file "____" in the folder "___". To view or change permissions, select the item in the Finder and choose File > Get Info. The only choice is "OK" When I then press "OK" the title of the Pages document now ends this way: " ___.pages -- Not Saved" and the popup balloon beneath it says, "The document could not be autosaved. You don't have permission." So in the Finder I do as instructed; I choose the document, then File and > Get info. There I see in the sidebar under "Sharing & Permissions" that I have the Privilege to Read & Write. BUT ... WHAT ABOUT THE PERMISSION TO SAVE? Or Autosave, for that matter? Friends, any idea how I can give myself permission to save or autosave? Thank you!
