Trying to record a video in the camera app results in a high pitch feedback during playback. The pitch specifically is a bit grainy at a B5 on a piano. I can kind of hear the actual audio underneath, but it’s barely audible.
trying to replicate the sound in another video recording app (In this case I used SnapChat) did not result in this feedback, and I have crystal clear audio.
I am on an iPhone 16 Pro max.

I went ahead and made a few videos testing different settings combinations, but there are still audio issues with all the settings. After a few seconds without constant audio input, both mono and stereo seem to get the ringing, but at different volumes and intensities.
i wish I could upload videos directly from my phone on here.
Do you have a case on your iPhone? Have you tried recording without your case? Are you recording mono, stereo or Spatial Audio? Have you tried recording in all three modes?

iPhone > Settings > Camera > Record Sound > change sound recording > also switch on and off Allow Audio Feedback
