Mac-Mini 2023 fails to add USB devices
I attempted to add a device and it finds the item sometimes, but when you hit connect it will never complete the connect, shows it searching and then drops the device from the list.

In most cases you don't "add" a USB device as such, and I've never run into a situation where I need to hit a "connect" to access one, at least at the operating system level. So you definitely need to explain in more detail about your system and what you have that you're trying to connect.
