The video playback is choppy only when Logic Pro uses AirPods Pro 2 as the output. I’ve tried different codecs and video formats, but the stuttering remains the same. Please don’t tell me to use wired headphones.
My setup: MacBook Pro M1 Pro Max. My Logic Pro version is 11.1.2.

I had this same issue, but I figured out how to resolve it. For some reason, when using a Bluetooth device as your output, you need to set your Mac’s system sound output to “MacBook Pro Speakers” while having the Output Device in Logic (in your project settings) set to your AirPods. It’s kind of crazy to me why it works this way. You would think both outputs should be set to your AirPods. I hope this works for you!

I thought it was obvious that there is no problem when I use Logic Pro with an interface and connected headphones, or when I plug headphones directly into the laptop. The problem occurs only when a Bluetooth device is set as the output. The audio is smooth and spatial, but the only thing that stutters is the video I am working on within the software. Apple advertises its proprietary software with the ability to mix in Spatial Audio using AirPods Pro, so I believe such issues should not occur. Especially since half, if not most, of spatially mixed media are films.
I don't know of any Logic advertisments that confirm mixing spatial audio with AirPods. I do know ads that confirm listening to spatial audio on airPods or mixing with wired headphones. However, you could send a report to apple, don't forget to include the link of the ad :
Please don’t tell me to use wired headphones.
