I got this too. But looking at link you provided it shows won’t complete til 4/2025 so I think these emails are scam

It’s legit..I received mines the same way. I got mines on the 29th and I deposited and it was in my account the next morning around 4:30am

I received the same check for 200.but have not electronically deposited it because it seems scammy to me. Why are they sending us this money?

I got the same email. I believe it’s legit since I’ve been receiving correspondence about this case for a long time. I’m just not ok with entering my info on checkbook dot io which I have never heard of.

How much you receive depends on how many devices you owned that fell under the lawsuit.

And yes, it's entirely normal for these types of settlements to ask for your bank's routing number and your account number. That allows them to deposit your settlement electronically instead of the extra time and expense necessary to send you a paper check.

The bank info only allows them to deposit funds. It would require your PIN to withdraw anything.

I got the same email on January 29th for $200. I have an account that I recently opened up at Chase Bank with absolutely no money in it. I did the deposit for the check this morning, it says it is pending, but it shows on my account. If the funds clear, I will post an update.

So I decided to just deposit it into my PayPa since I don’t really use PayPal. The settlement email said it would use checkbook to deliver the check. So I have fingers cross i didn’t just screw myself lol

Once you go to the bank link, you actually login to the bank account vida PLAID. Plaid is used by many financial institutions to link accounts for transactions. So you’re acct # etc are not directly linked to Checkbook.io.

I got the same email but when I signed up for this class action (a year or so ago) I chose ach deposit to an account that is now closed.

Below the check image it says “if you wish to view the payment details or change your deposit destination, click here” but it’s a dead link.

I'm skeptical about all this payment process after I received the digital check to my secondary email address which I did not provide in the payment attestation form submitted last year (2024). Does anyone know how to change payment option from digital to physical check?

I got this to verified it’s legit sent to my checking account on Thursday afternoon. Got confirmation when I did that I should see in my account 1-31 but still haven’t seen. Probably taking longer because of weekend to process. If don’t have by Monday will call checkbook.io or email them.

I received the same email. After doing some research, I decided to deposit it in my checking account.

On 2/2/25, I did a mobile deposit.

On 2/3/25, it showed pending in my account.

On 2/4/25, the money is in my checking account. I had no problems.
