You are correct. You would need to have an iPhone 15 or iPhone 16 to set up specific charge limits.
But.....and this surprises many users......even if you have a charge limit of 80% set for example......the battery will still charge to 100%, probably more often than you realize. Frankly, charge limits are more of a gimmick than anything else, but that might be another discussion.
Leave Optimized Battery Charging enabled on your iPhone 14 and connect the power supply to your phone at night and leave it connected......all night....every night.
Can you please explain the issue? Is your iPhone being overcharged or undercharged? Lots of good information in the above posts and links. Have you reviewed them?
