Why do my pictures not change in iMovie?

Why does pictures not change (in upper window) when I make iMovie? Also movie does not work if I click ready.

How do I fix freezing photos issue on iMovie? Why do my photos in iMovie no longer progress as a Slideshow from the first photo, but the music plays.
