Suspicious email from Apple

Just the other day I made a purchase online from the Apple Store Australia.

I received an email from Apple from this address: <au_***********@***.apple.com>

I didn't open the attachment.

I will also add that a few months prior I again made an online purchase and also received an email from this same address. Both times my gmail sent them to my Spam folder.

The emails said as follows:

"Dear Customer,

Thank you for shopping with Apple Pty Ltd

Please find enclosed your official Apple Tax Invoice.

Please retain a copy of this invoice for your records. Your Apple invoice may also be required to obtain warranty services.

Thank you

Apple Pty Ltd"

As I have an account and a record is kept of my purchases I do not need to keep invoices to retain a record of my purchases.

My issue is simply that I have made a purchase in Australia and I'm getting an email from an address that specifies "asia" and differs to the other email addresses... that respond to my purchase...telling me the item is being packed...my order has been received...etc. So I am immediately suspicious.

The email could possibly be authentic but how am I to know this?

Does anyone have any comments or has had a similar experience?

Thanks in advance.
