iPhone camera having green dots when zooming out

That looks like a hardware issue with the sensor. Make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have it diagnosed.

Having a little green dots on there that’s telling the camera is pretty good. It’s gonna start warming up now same same as mine. Make sure you reset turn off your phone and turn it back on. Let me know if you have more of a problem sorry.

Honestly, I get it so did I I had the same problem maybe satellite maybe the network who knows but I’ll do me a favor. Enjoy your day crack a beer a corona and enjoy it. Tell me when it is if it’s working good let me know.

As Kurtosis12 suggested, it appears to be a hardware issue, which you can't fix with an update. Do as he suggests and schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar for evaluation and service options.

Please share an example image or two. It most likely an optical defect known as flare. All lenses suffer from flare from one degree to another.

Which iPhone do you have and what iOS version is it using? That could be related to a setting.

It’s not that kind of issue as in dropping. It’s a digital artifact.

What software are you viewing the image with, Apple Photos app?

Have you looked at it in Photos app?

Please follow this path,

iPhone > Settings > scroll down > Apps > Photos > View Full HDR > try viewing in Photos with it on and off. Do you notice any difference?
