My new Studio display's speakers have really bad sound. It's like the sound is coming
from a small box and I can't find any controls to change the sound.
I've tried listening to YouTube videos and music and the sound is just monotone with no stereo or depth
to it at all.
Are there any controls for sound?

Thank you for your input. I have used a different TB port and it helped a lot. The sound is much better.
My Studio Display was plug and play without need for tweaking sound.
You can double-check the cable connection, or use different TB port from the Mac.
Otherwise... Please read on...
Since it's new - you might want to bring it back to Apple to have it check if it is still under warranty.
