Reducing system data on iPhone with 64GB storage

I’ve got 64gb phone storage capacity but 49.73gb is now taken up by system data. How do I reduce this? I’ve offloaded/deleted everything I can but now there isn’t enough space even to upload the latest update. I’m sick of upgrading my iPhone just because the storage is full. What’s the solution?

You likely have some corrupt data on your iPhone. If the Forced Restart Zachyy recommended doesn't help, the best way to eliminate system data is a backup, then restore.
