My Apple HomeKit app keeps showing a background

hello , my apple home won't work on my MacBook, i saw a forum where someone had a similar issue (and used monterey like i do) and they provided steps to fix it but its still stuck. can anyone help me with this?

It might be because you’re running an older software that no longer supports the new home architecture. Updating might be the only option to use the Home App on your Mac. I can’t recall if it needs to be on Catalina or Ventura. If you have another Apple device like an iPhone or iPad to use for the Home App you can use that if you don’t want to upgrade the Mac. (The primary user of the Home account used a newer device to upgrade the architecture).
